Fun Day Monday

Connor's last day of school was Monday the 21st. He talked about Fun Day Monday for days! His teacher had activities set up outside for the kids to do and we spent the better part of the morning outside playing.

After all the fun outside and lunch we headed back to the classroom for Pre K awards. He has grown up so much this year and tells us daily he's a big boy now! I can't wait to see what Kindegarden has in store for him!

9

Avery your 9 months old! How? I'm not sure but you are! !

You now have four teeth-two on top (your vampire teeth) and your two bottom front.

You can go from laying down to sitting up in a quick minute

Your now crawling and pulling up onto everything!

We find you sitting like this alot.

You have the cheesiest grin ever!

You sit like this in your crib. Looking out at us (threw the bars) makes us laugh everytime.
You have huge eyes and seem to know how to use them already!

Your favorite spot in our house is Laynee and Connor's room. (or the bathroom)

You rush to the bathroom once you hear the water running and cry if it's not your turn!

You are a daddy's boy and must be in the recliner with Daddy before you will go to sleep.

You love to give sugga sugga and often catch us by surprise with a big slobbery kiss!

You have become very clingy this month and often cry if someone leaves the room.

At your 9 month check up you had an ear infection but they we're able to give you your shots (no fever) but I totally forgot how much you weighed....I know it was 20lbs and a few ounces...

You bit me twice this month both times while I was taking items you weren't suppose to have away from you.

At 9 months you're spoiled rotten, full of surprises and a joy to our little family! Happy 9 months Avery!

LIfe Lately

My floors need sweeping.
Our fridge needs cleaning out.
I miss Salley Mae the most (our cat) but am glad to have my back porch back!
We have leaves that need raking from our side yard.
I'm planning two parties for ONE day in August for my favorite two boys and I'm spinning in circles not knowing where to turn next.
During our lastest Family Photo session my two oldest possed like this....

and it imediately melted my heart the first time I saw it on FB the preview on FB. Where was Avery, oh just crawling off somewhere. He's busy these days.
Our garage looks like an episode from Hoarders. I tend clean out and finish a few projects that are curently taking up space in it.
We still have two bedrooms and half of the kitchen to finish putting down the new flooring. I love everything about it except the SWEEPING. Oh my, alittle someone likes to put everything in his mouth.
I'm slowing losing weight. I'm down 4lbs, not as much as I would have hoped for but its a start.
I've almost quit Cokes. For those that know me well, THIS IS HUGE for me. I L-O-V-E coke. Headaches are an issue but are getting better.
I plan on blogging more. I have many pictures and stories to tell just can't find the time.
I've currently took on reading and its my new favorite thing to do. I've read Nie Nie's book, Bloom and Two Kisses for Maddy and loved something about all of them.
I'm currently reading 50 Shades of Grey-waiting on book 2 to arrive at my door steps anyday now.
I'm also walking at the track most nights and can't seem to find the time to squeeze in anything else so somethings have taking a back burner.
I can't seem to get caught up on laundry. Will it get better? Really our couch seems to always have a load or two on it.
I recently cleaned our back porch off, between the cat and all the mess of random toys we are now able to atleast swing, sit and play on it again with out getting dirty in the process.
Avery is finally crawling-not just scooting around on the floor. He's also mastered pulling up, onto everything and has let go a couple of times. He likes to hold your hands to walk and insist on walking on his tip toes (reminds me of the way big sister use too!).
Adam started a new job-he's lovin it! The whole thing was a bit stressful but has worked out!
Avery has four teeth-two on bottom and two (vampire teeth) on top. He looks funny when he smiles.

I really do plan on blogging more. Expect a 9 month post on Avery and lots more other fun post soon!

Five

I knew it was coming, that some how I wouldn't forget. How could I? I woke up moody this am. Mad at the world and couldn't quite figure out why. 2 something it hits me, it's been 5 years today. 5 years can go by so quickly and yet so slow at the same time. It's been 5 years since Laynee played the harmonica for him over the phone shortly before he died. 5 years since she ask where Pawpaw was and why we couldn't visit. 5 years of knowing Connor and now Avery would never meet him. 5 years of knowing I couldn't watch from a distance how much his face lit up seeing the great grands. They say it gets easier, I haven't felt that as of yet. I long to go for a quick visit. I often find myself telling the kids of child hood memories of them.  It doesn't get any easier just alittle more bearable. Tonight I think will take out the photo books and reminisce alittle or maybe alot!

Back Up

Let's start with March

The first friday of March I (we) made the decision to have my tubes tied. Although I love babies three is enough for us! I know, I know I'll get baby fever once again and at this point I hope someone very close gets pregnant so I can "borrow" theirs!

Laynee turned EIGHT on the 16th and we celebrated by having her party on St. Patrick's Day which is also Granny Maxine's Birthday! It was a great party with the first girl(s) spend the night party! She talked about it for weeks! Connor on the other hand didn't like sharing his big sister at all.

Avery got his first two teeth right before he turned 8 months! He also got his first ear infection but compared to our other two we are doing great as far as those go! He started saying da-da and is now saying bye bye too! He loves to play peek a boo!

That's about it for March!

BTW did you get your copy of this? I did!

I just started on her book-so far it's awesome!
